Do you remember that board that came into your life? The one that met you at the right time and place. Formative memories that you still draw from. Think about them right now. Pretty sure you can see yourself with it and describe every color, the stickers; who knows, you do. Now imagine you could have just one more wave together. 

Life moves on. Somethings change, but not everything. 
You have changed, boards have changed, even surfing could be said to have changed. 
But hydrodynamics, nope. That’s stayed the same. 
Imagine you could wake up to a version of that old love on Christmas morning. 
This is the December Series 12/25 Present Collection. 

You describe, bring in, show, share, or draw your dream board from days gone by and get it present. A christmas present. 

The essence is in design here, revisiting the nostalgic connection to yourself and your surfing. 
The ingredients in a board and its collection of cohesive elements is paramount. Can we improve on certain elements, absolutely. The goal will be to make a magic board that is sized right and fits your vision and life today from the inspiration and foundation that it served you with then and from which we build. 
There are so many modern materials, fin options, even just the concept of a fin system. Eps, epoxy, carbon. The list goes on.

The stories are endless, they belong to you. And this makes them most important, because they mean something to you. 
Creativity has no limit and inspiration is a short pier for imagination into a deep sea in which we can be most free. 
Many times you hear someone explaining a magic board that they should never have sold. Or worse things: lost in fires or floods. Whatever the case. Expand the thinking toward sharing bygone eras. In a landscape of widgets, pop-out consumeristic tendencies and mechanized production, getting something recreated with modern updated and reference to nostalgia is a hands on approached biggest strength. Pivoting on demand and applying design and craftsmanship as unique and as individualistic to each as they are. 

Christmas is coming soon. I have blocked out my entire work flow schedule to focus on and prioritize this collection. Therefore, spots are limited and selected projects will be on a first come, first fascination basis.

Will these boards be handmade, start to finish by Donald Brink? - Yes, always.

Can I switch my existing order for this offer? - No.

What if my old twin was a V-bottom? Can we adjust it to a more contemporary concave style? - Yes, within reason of serving the conceptual design of the entire craft, we can update or balance nuances if they serve the cohesion of the entire build.

What is the price for 12/25 Present Collection? - $1225. It’s Christmas and dream boards are really invaluable. Price includes eps, epoxy, color, art, detail, etc. And a mystery bag of ____with each build.

What if my board isn’t selected for the series, can I have it build later? - Maybe, but not at this offered price.

Can you ship these boards? - Yes. Shipping charges will be additional and charged separately. Restrictions apply.

What is the deadline? First come, first fascination maps the flow.

If my board from so many years ago was symmetrical, can you apply the concepts of asymmetry to this new build with the desired changes discussed? - Yes, application of stance specific asymmetry is a welcome and valuable design approach for good surfing.

How many boards will be chosen? - TBD - Dependent on the design intricacies and how good the surf is between now and Christmas.

What if I don’t like my board? Well you used to, so there is much confidence that you’ll like it again. My role is to do a good job and balance design.
